University of Oulu

The Master's degrees at the University of Oulu are two years' degrees to which you may apply directly after having a lower degree, normally a Bachelors degree, from an institution of higher education entitling you to apply for Master's studies in your own country. The Master's degree from the University of Oulu entitles you to continue to licentiate or doctoral studies. There are eight international Master's degree programmes at the University of Oulu:

• Master's Degree Programme in Software, Systems and Services Development in Global Environment, MSc
• Master's Degree Programme in Synchrotron Radiation Based Science and Accelerator Physics
• Master's Degree Programme in Wireless Communication Engineering

Technology

• Master's Programme in Architectural Design, MSc
• Barents Master's Degree Programme in Environmental Engineering, MSc
• Master's Degree Programme in Wireless Communications Engineering (WCE), MSc

Oulu University of Applied Sciences

The Master's degrees at Oulu University of Applied Sciences lead to a new type of Master's degree and take 1–2 years to complete. The minimum eligibility criteria for the studies are a suitable Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 3 years work experience within the field of the degree obtained. There are two international Master's degree programmes at the Oulu University of Applied Sciences:
